In rural Uganda, girls are far more likely than boys to leave school early due to cultural norms, menstruation, or household responsibilities. At Start the Ripple, we believe every child deserves the same opportunities to learn and grow. Supporting girls in education not only benefits them individually but strengthens families and communities as a whole. Bridging the gender gap ensures that every child has the tools to shape their own future.

Our Impact So Far

• Provided reusable menstrual pads to girls of age, helping them stay in school.

• Offered scholarships to girls, supporting access to quality education.

• Maintained nearly equal enrollment for boys and girls, showing our commitment to balanced educational opportunities.
