What You Will Experience
Urban and cultural exploration in Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. Activities include traditional Ugandan drumming and dance performances, visits to local craft and artisan markets, and time spent learning about daily life in an urban setting.
Wildlife and conservation experiences begin at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where participants take part in guided white rhino trekking and learn about conservation efforts supporting this endangered species.
The trip continues to Murchison Falls National Park. Activities include game drives with opportunities to see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a wide variety of bird species. Participants will take a boat cruise along the Nile River to observe hippos and crocodiles and will visit the top of Murchison Falls, one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world.
Uganda offers the opportunity to see Africa’s Big Five within a single country.
Participants will also visit Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world and the source of the Nile River.
Community connection is a central part of the trip. Participants visit Ebenezer Junior School in a rural village, meet students, teachers, and community members, and learn how trip proceeds support education, nutrition, and long-term community development.
