At Start the Ripple, we're committed to changing this narrative by providing sustainable water and sanitation solutions that improve lives and promote health.

Our Impact So Far

• Installed a 120-foot-deep water well at the school in 2023, providing a consistent supply to meet high daily demands.

• Fundraised in March 2025 to repair the single community borehole in Kyanjiri, guaranteed for two years.

• Established 2 handwashing stations at school latrines.

• Distributed soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to the community, with lessons and demonstrations on hygiene.

• Educated students on proper hygiene practices in school.

Our Vision Moving Forward

• Explore more safe water methods to ensure reliable access for students and the community.

• Drill a well at the secondary school to ensure a safe water supply for the expanded student population.

• Expand community outreach programs to educate and provide for more families in Kyanjiri.
